While the machine usually arrives with enough hydraulic oil to operate, it is not full to capacity (approx. 7L).

Important: You must check the oil level using the dipstick prior to operating the machine and top up if necessary.

Tip: If you select the Gold PDI Service when ordering, we will assemble the machine and fill it to the correct level for you.

Our log splitter comes fitted with a conventional UK 230v, 3-pin plug suitable for a standard UK domestic socket. You do not need a special 16A supply.

Due to the powerful 3000W motor, you must use a Heavy-Duty Extension Lead.

  • It should be no longer than 10m.
  • The cable section must be at least 2.5mm thick.
  • Important: The lead must be fully uncoiled to prevent overheating.

We carry spare parts for all machines in the Titan Pro range.

The machine arrives with the ram lowered for transport. To raise it:

  1. Remove the two locking pins from the top of the column.
  2. Operate the ram upwards until it is in its topmost position.
  3. Replace the two locking pins into their respective holes to lock the ram in place.

To lower the machine for storage or transport, simply reverse the setup process by removing the locking pins and carefully lowering the ram.

Usage and Adjustments

This machine features two-handed safety operation. Both levers must be depressed simultaneously to activate the ram.

Adjustment is rarely necessary. However, if the machine is not engaging the "Fast Speed" or "Splitting Speed" correctly, the linkages may need tightening.
