Titan Pro Tech Tip: Setting Tension via Engine Adjustment Slots
To correctly tension a new drive belt on the 7HP chipper series, adjust the position of the main engine block along its structural chassis slots. A properly tuned belt should allow approximately 10mm to 15mm of lateral deflection when pressed firmly with your thumb at the midpoint between the pulleys. Setting the tension too tight causes severe load stress on the crankshaft bearings and can snap the rubber, while a loose belt will slip, smoke, and quickly glaze over under heavy branch loading.

Really happy with the drive belt supplied - its robust well made and does the job Belt of this design and strength was tricky to install but achievable by a novice is you watch the companies Utube how to install videos. New belt and chipper made light work of my winter tree pruning. Recommended

Our titan chipper got totally destroyed in the floods of 2015 under 2 mtrs. of sludge waterwe had wrote it off but a few months ago we decided to give it a clean and service and cracked it up it went 1st time and demolished a large pile of tree matter over a three day period
