Titan Pro Tech Tip: Engine Idle Speed & Keyway Fit
When installing a new centrifugal clutch assembly, make sure the engine's output shaft keyway sits fully flush and square in the slot before tightening the main retention bolt. If your chipper blades try to rotate while the engine is running at a low idle, your engine idle speed ($RPM$) might be set too high, forcing the internal clutch weights and springs to drag against the outer drum prematurely. Always verify that the clutch drum spins entirely freely at low starting idle to prevent glazing the internal friction shoes.

Replacement Clutch
As I needed the new clutch urgently I thought dealing with someone direct was the best way to order but was told it would be better to order online. After setting up an account it was easy to order and pay. I left a note saying I required the new clutch urgently. Ordered Monday It arrived Thursday which given the current situation was acceptable although I was hoping for a Wednesday delivery. Packed well and once fitted the shredder was back to work with no problems. One note for people with an older Titan Pro 6.5hp check the shaft size as I believe they were 19mm or 34.
