Titan Pro Tech Tip: Installation & Spring Tension
When installing your new pull cord, you will need to pre-tension the internal recoil spring before threading the rope through the housing eyelet. Once you thread the cord out through the hole, tie a temporary slip knot to prevent the spring from aggressively pulling the cord back inside while you safely attach the pull handle! Briefly melting the cut ends of the cord with a lighter will prevent the nylon from fraying over time.
