Titan Pro Tech Tip: Split the Log First!
When testing firewood, never press the pins into the outside bark! The exterior of a log dries much faster than the inside and will give you a falsely dry reading. To get an accurate measurement, split the log in half with an axe or log splitter, and immediately press the 10mm testing pins into the freshly exposed centre grain.
