A very common cause of a "no spark" condition is this wire accidentally rubbing against the engine block or being pinched under the engine shroud, grounding out the electrical circuit. Always ensure it is routed safely away from moving parts and heat sources! To set the perfect air gap to the flywheel, trap a standard business card between the coil and magnets while tightening the bolts.
