For optimum results, replace blades as a pair to ensure balanced operation and consistent chipping performance.
Titan Pro Fitting Advice & Calibration
When installing the blades, ensure they are pushed fully back against the drum wall to achieve the correct blade gap before tightening the bolts securely. Any residual debris, sap, or fine wood flour behind the blade seating area can cause an uneven alignment, resulting in high-vibration eccentric wobble or contact with the stationary counterblade. Always check and calibrate the precise blade-to-anvil clearance using a feeler gauge across the entire rotation before executing a live machine startup.
If ordered with the optional blade bolt kit, you will receive:
• 8 x Blade bolts
• 8 x Washers
This provides the correct fixings for both blades.
