Titan Pro Tech Tip: Washer Assembly Sequencing
Because the counterblade (anvil plate) experiences continuous high-impact shock feedback when timber hits the shredding area, locking tension is critical. When assembling this hardware, place the flat washer directly against the static metal anvil plate first to distribute the structural clamping force. Slide the split-lock tension washer onto the bolt next, right underneath the bolt head. As you torque down the bolt, the split washer compresses flat, acting like a constant spring-loaded lock to stop the hardware from backing out under heavy machine vibrations.
