Internal cylinder walls must remain completely free of deep scratches or debris to maintain a high-pressure seal with the piston head. When replacing the internal cylinder tube, inspect all internal rubber seals and O-rings for wear. Ensure the cylinder casing is flushed clean of any metal particles or old oil sludge, refill with fresh ISO VG 22 or 32 hydraulic fluid, and open the air bleed screw during initial cycle testing to purge trapped air from the cylinder chamber.
