Titan Pro Tech Tip: Anvil Clearance & Fixings
When fitting your new blades, always ensure that the gap between the rotating blade edge and the fixed counter-blade (the anvil) is set correctly—usually a gap of around 1mm to 2mm. If this gap is too wide, the chipper will tear the wood rather than cutting it, pulling stringy material around the drum. Crucially, always use high-strength threadlocker on the blade bolts when reinstalling to prevent them from vibrating loose!
