Important Installation & Hardware Notice:
• The complete seal kit is recommended when replacing the pump casting and can be purchased separately.
• The casting attaches to the motor using 6 bolts, which are not supplied.
• It attaches to the log splitter using 3 bolts, which are not supplied.

The hydraulic pump casting houses critical fluid channels and drive gear pockets. Hairline cracks or warped mounting faces will lead to pressure loss and hydraulic fluid leaks. When fitting this replacement casting, ensure both the 6-hole motor face and 3-hole machine face are thoroughly cleaned of old sealant and grit. Always replace all internal O-rings and torque mounting bolts evenly in a diagonal pattern to guarantee a leak-free, high-pressure seal.

The original casting had a hairline crack and seeped oil. The replacement looks better quality. Relatively straightforward but time consuming to swap over. Replacement seals essential as old ones had hardened. Helpful technical support was available.
