Titan Pro Tech Tip: The Perfect Pair!
If your chipper starts blowing black smoke and loses power under load, it usually means the air filter is choked with fine sawdust, causing the engine to run too "rich" (too much fuel, not enough air). This excess fuel quickly creates thick, black carbon deposits on the spark plug, destroying it! This is why it is always best practice to replace both the filter and the spark plug at exactly the same time.
