Ive owned two previous log splitters neither lasted more than a couple of years but they required quite a lot of technique to spilt larger logs - coping bits off the sides until it was manageable. No longer. Yes it was double the price of a horizontal one but boy does it work beautifully. Nothing has beaten it yet no repeated attempts to get a lump of Ash at a branch junction to cut it just powers on through. Although quite techie I got them to do the setting up on the advice of a previous reviewer. It works better with one of the guards removed and occupies quite a small patch of real estate in the garage now. Two days to split a years worth of wood with two teenage sons and they actually enjoyed it for the first time.

Just what I needed to split really big logs. No need to lift heavy logs miles off the ground - easy to assemble - quick to use - great service from Titan who were very helpful when I phoned - no complaints at all

Great product overall. It came pre-assembled but setup instructions were a little difficult to follow. However once it was setup it is great and is happily splitting logs both large and small and will make topping up the wood store much easier Solid build quality and suspect it will keep splitting for many years to come.

Good delivery coms heavy bit of kit would go for assembly option if I was buying again.Splits everything I gave it should have got one a couple of years agoGreat Log splitter for money
